Deposits will be required to hold your puppy, balance due in cash upon pick up. Puppies will have their tails done, first shots and worming before going to their new homes. Deposits are NON refundable unless an unseen foreseen circumstance occurs to the puppy. If you change your mind about purchasing a puppy after deposit has been sent, no refund will be given. Pictures of the puppies are posted frequently.

News Flash - Most of the puppies will now be sold with limited registrations, with the exception of the breeders who have worked so hard to preserve what the Decker is today. Please let me know if you have any questions regarding the registration. I have had so many calls about breeding, and I am a lot pickier today than I was ten years ago - and have learned that too many people are diluting the breed with many strange crosses. My dogs are bred to hunt, to be loyal, for intelligence and for conformation. I will not sacrafice these qualities and will not allow my dogs to be involved in any breedings that take away from these qualities.

Please see breeding/due date page for availability. Breeder reserves right to pick of male and/or female from any litter. Please also review the contract BEFORE YOU SUBMIT YOUR DEPOSIT, AS DEPOSITS ARE NON REFUNDABLE, it is expected that every buyer will sign and understand contract fully at the time of pick up. By submitting your deposit you agree to the terms on the contract.

Each puppy will be on Natural Balance Puppy Start and Natural Balance canned puppy food and will be drinking water regularly.

Puppies will be wormed and vaccinated - please advise if you DO NOT want your puppy wormed or vaccinated (holistic approach) - my contract will be modified w/o health guarantee.

Puppies that are not PICKED UP or PAID IN FULL by the tenth week of age will will be relisted for sale. Deposit will not be refunded unless previous arrangements have been made.

Attention new owners and potential buyers! Please be courteous and try to be on time for your puppy visits. I am trying to avoid overlapping visits so I can spend time individually with each of you and your new puppy, as all my dogs are whelped inside the house.

  • My son just picked up "Cody" at the airport, Alaska Air did a grand job!............. as luck has it an emergency job coaching on Mt Hood came up. Did not think I (Mom) would be able to handle a new pup, but Cody is a beaut and I am in love.....so is my one year old female decker Mena. Christina was a dear and the purchase, shipping and receiving couldn't have gone better. Such a sturdy handsom perfect Decker!!! HE SHOWS NO FEAR and what a lover, lick lick!!!

  • Hi! For those who wonder, we bought 2 pups from her and we love them! The male. Rocco, has great temperament and extremely obedient a natural on the leash super happy go lucky. The Sweetie (little sis) is fearless. They are a great addition to our pack and people on the street stop us to ask for them and even had offered us to buy them! Love them and thks for such great dogs

  • Hello, Me again. I was just looking at the lineage background on "Sunset Acres Legacy of Faith" and noticed FM "Kahlua" listed. He was the father to my tweleve year old rat terrier "Nike" that we got from the Fire Mountain kennels of Rosalie Rinear in Buttonwillow. Nike's mother was FM "Pretty Penny".   • Hello, We are interested in a female rat terrier puppy in the near future. We currently are the proud owners of a 12 year old standard female from Rosilie Rinear's "Fire Mountain" rat terriers. We actually went home with 2 puppies but lost one at 9 years old due to cancer. I can still remember driving out to Buttonwillow to pick up the puppies. Rosilie made us take off our shoes before entering her house to see the litters. We also have an Allison Blackman "Chaparall" 3 year old male blue tri rat terrier. He has some coat/skin issues (alopecia) but nothing overwhelming and he is the sweetest dog. Our vet thinks he is the luckiest dog ever to have found us for owners. We are responsible pet owners and plan on neuturing our newest member once home. It is just my husband and myself and we live in a home located in Costa Mesa, Calif. and have a large fenced and gated yard safe for lots of playing. We were thinking that it might be a good time to introduce an new puppy to our pack. We would be interested in a standard size female rat terrier.   • Hi! my husband and I are interested in adding a puppy to our family. We know one of your pups very well who went to the Serlin's last year....we love him, and he hangs out at our house too! I am fairly familiar with Rat Terriers...I got my parents one 11 years ago and she is the most precious thing to them. I am looking for a standard girl (if those are the smaller ones). If I could pick exactly what I wanted it would be the more unusual colors. Just wondering if and/or when there is that availability.
