Thank You~ for visiting our site we have compiled pictures of our Giant Rat Terriers so that you may see the dogs.  Although we feel pictures do not do our dogs justice we are proud to showcase them here for you.  Skippin Cj Ranch is a proud breeder of the original intact lines of Giant Rat Terriers we do not believe in cross breeding with other breed of dogs as the Giant Rat has been around for over 35 years.  We honestly believe that cross breeding at this point is just well....pointless and would do nothing for the dogs for their future only continuing to weaken the already threatened traits that are left after years of careless breeding and outcrossing to Standard Rat Terriers that did not have the bone, muscle or beautiful elegance the Giant Rat Terrier exhibits.  Our dogs hunt daily and catch their own prey with ease.  I find that these are the most versatile dogs alive in that they can be an obedient hunter in the field and return home at the end of a long day to be with small children.  Giant rat Terriers are not hyper or flighty and enjoy  most their family by being a constant source of amusement and loyalty.  Once you experience this amazing dog you will then see them through our eyes!  This is a dog worthy of a second chance and as close as they have came to extinction in the past, they now have blossomed and are known much more widely we intend for them to stay around another hundred years or so, so others can enjoy this canine treasure.
